Pleasantly stumbling upon a playground in the middle of the city... It was the perfect ending, after a long and beautiful walk, exploring Tampa Bay's Downtown, especially for a family with a little toddler, running around! The playground is next to the Art Museum and the Children's Museum. It seems so unlikely to see this spacious park, at the heart of downtown, hiding amongst the city buildings, but being there, almost felt tranquil, a quick break from the hustle of the city and the right pause to take in the day, sit on a bench, watch children play and smile. It felt like we were miles away from anything but the vibrancy and energy that comes with people, families, kids who are out to play and enjoying it.
